I finally had to replace my original conceal carry purse after 10 years.. I went to a local outfitter store and found what I thought was going to be a good replacement, until I looked at the price. Saw that it was made by Jessie & James and went to their website. Got it for less than half what the other store was asking.. The Pros of the Shelby:
I love the fact that the conceal area is at the back of the bag. In other words, your weapon is up against you. Not buried in the middle of the bag. The two outside pouches, I use one for my cell phone and the other for my smokes and credit cards, are easily accessible. No digging around for frequently used items. The center section is large enough for almost anything else you would want to carry.. The crossbody strap is a great length. I'm 6" tall and have a fair amount of a chest. The top of my purse now lays at my waist line, my weapon is right at my hip and I still had more strap to go if I had needed it.
Cons of the Shelby: I'm being picky here. I haven't found a reason to use the lock and key mechanism yet. I did operate it a couple times and found it was a pain in the backside to get it to work. My other gripe. I wish the bag had been made about 2" wider. I was hoping to carry my full sized 1911 Kimber in this bag. Unfortunately, I can't get the zipper closed because the trigger guard is in the way. My everyday carry fits with no problem
In todays age where it is hit and miss ordering products online this was definitely a hit! Showed up quickly and on time! And the quality of the product was even better than what we were hoping! Would highly recommend the product and company!
